ROUND TILTING BRAISING PANS - REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF PARTS

5. Unbolt the braisin
g
pan from the mountin
g
surface or stand.
6. Lay the braisin
g
pan on its back to expose the
four base plate mountin
g
nuts and bolts.
7. Remove the nuts and carria
g
e bolts on the ri
g
ht
side to separate the base plate from the ri
g
ht
side support member.
8. Gently strike the inner side of the support
member by hand or rubber mallet to dislod
g
e
the pan assembly sleeve from the bearin
g
.
Before the sleeve separates from the bearin
g
,
g
rasp the pan for support.
9. Grasp the pan firmly and then pull it away from
the left side bearin
g
.
NOTE: CHECK CONDITION OF BOTH BEARINGS
WHILE PAN IS OUT AND REPLACE IF
NECESSARY.
10. Replace with a new pan and reverse procedure
to install.
BEARINGS
WARNING: DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL
POWER TO THE MACHINE AT THE MAIN
CIRCUIT BOX. PLACE A TAG ON THE CIRCUIT
BOX INDICATING THE CIRCUIT IS BEING
SERVICED.
1. Remove the pan assembly as outlined under
“PAN ASSEMBLY”.
2. Remove the bearin
g
to be replaced from the
support member.
NOTE: CHECK CONDITION OF BEARING ON
OPPOSITE SIDE AND REPLACE IF NECESSARY.
3. Replace with a new bearin
g
and reverse
procedure to install.
LIMIT SWITCH (Gas Model)
WARNING: DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL
POWER TO THE MACHINE AT THE MAIN
CIRCUIT BOX. PLACE A TAG ON THE CIRCUIT
BOX INDICATING THE CIRCUIT IS BEING
SERVICED.
1. Remove ri
g
ht console cover as outlined under
“RIGHT AND LEFT CONSOLE COVER”.
2. Pull out the ri
g
ht side access panel to expose
the compartment controls.
3. Disconnect the lead wires from the switch.
4. Tilt braisin
g
pan forward until it comes to rest
on the stop bar.
5. Remove the screws securin
g
the switch to the
bracket.
6. Reverse procedure to install and check for
proper operation.
